Tara Hack
Tara Hack is a 21 year old native New Yorker. This up and coming singer-songwriter has been attracting international attention with her voice and moving lyrics. She is commanding audiences across the country to hear what she has to say. Tara has impressive accomplishments under her belt already and big dreams for the future. Growing up in a small town in Long Island, New York, she constantly surrounded herself with music. As her passion developed so too did her voice,guitar skills, and collections of self-written songs. Determined to get her music and voice out there, she began performing at Penn Station in NYC for thousands of commuters coming and going each day. As her fan base grew so did her possibilities. 

At 16 she began working in the studio, finally releasing her debut album, "See You Soon" in April 2008. The CD continues to be hugely successful receiving thousands of plays online, as well as availability and sales in Penn Station, on I-Tunes, and record stores throughout the Northeast. Her latest music project and biggest single to date"Saya Tidak Bersalah" (Im Not Guilty). The song tells the story of Schapelle Corby, an Australian woman who was framed and wrongfully imprisoned in Bali, Indonesia. When asked in an interview why she an American, cared so much about Schapelle, an Australian woman whom she has never met, Ms Hack poignantly responded,"I am a human before I am an American," a quote very telling of her character. Tara has joined an international human rights movement aimed to free Schapelle. Tara's song has fired the movement and spread awareness of Schapelle's plight. 

Tara Hack and this new single were featured as a front page story in the Sydney Morning Herald which stated, "New York-based singer-songwriter Tara Hack has attracted rave reviews and thousands of hits on You Tube after releasing her track earlier this month." There have also been features on her project in the Brisbane Times.On radio Tara has done multiple interviews in Sydney Australia including 2GB radio out of Sydney, hosted by Reverend Bill Crews, as well as "The World On Fire" Radio Northern beaches 88.7 & 90.3 FM, hosted by radio personality Richard Duncan. Duncan said of our young Tara "I believe she will take the world by storm, by combination of her beautiful voice and musical talent...She has a beautiful heart. 

In the USA Tara has been on the radio in New York City for the Joey Reynolds Show on 710AM WOR radio and has been asked to be a featured guest on the show again. Her growing critical acclaim recently brought her to the Conference Of World Affairs at the University of Colorado. Conference duties included performing, and speaking to University students and panelist, including well- known and highly respected Australian author Kay Danes. Tara is continuing to travel, perform, and spread the story of Schapelle Corby. Tara has been described by TOP-40-charts.com music website as a "highly acclaimed Indy-pop artist."
